Did you know that the Wolves Lacrosse Association is the oldest youth lacrosse organization in our province? The Wolves Lacrosse Association is a non-profit sports organization whose mission is to foster the physical, mental an emotional growth and development of our community’s youth through the sport of lacrosse at all age levels for both Male and Female. The Wolves strive to make lacrosse (First Nations call it the Creator’s Game) FUN and de-emphasize winning at all costs.

The Wolves Lacrosse Association was established in 1974 and is a long-standing member of Lacrosse Nova Scotia and the Canadian Lacrosse Association. Our 14 teams and almost 300 players ranging in age from 4 to 18 compete in the Metro Minor Lacrosse League (MMLL). Our membership covers the communities of Bedford, Sackville, Fall River, Windsor Jct., Beaver Bank, Enfield, Elmsdale and Mount Uniacke. The Wolves offer recreation (Club) teams where all participants get equal opportunity and competitive (Select) for the participants with advanced skills and ambition.

In the past five years, the sport of lacrosse continues to gain interest and enrollment. With the emergence of the Halifax Thunderbirds (NLL) professional team, our game here on the East Coast is expected to see tremendous growth in registration numbers. To assist in this growth the Wolves need your help!! Our Association is non-profit and receives no monies other than player registration fees. So that no child is left behind due to increase fees the Wolves Lacrosse Association are now seeking SPONSORSHIP to help offset the cost of new team uniforms which need replacing and for additional teams.
