WHAT IS THE SEASON SCHEDULE?

  • U9 (Mighty Tykes) will be Tuesday AND Thursday from 6-7pm for 10 weeks, starting May 19th and 21st, with their Jamboree Day on June 27, 2026.
  • For U11 and older, pre-season will begin early April.  Teams will be allocated one practice per week for pre-season. Depending on registration numbers, evaluations may be completed to divide teams.  We will not know specific dates until registration closes.
  • MMLL sets the game schedule which will begin May 2nd and run until July 26th - this includes 14 games plus playoffs.  This schedule will be posted after registration closes towards the end April and all association teams are set (same as hockey).

WHERE DO WE PLAY & PRACTICE?

  • Pre-season practices can be held at the East Hants Sportsplex, Gray Arena, Greenfoot Energy Centre, Lebrun Recreation Centre and RBC Centre. Dry Floor facilities are in high demand so although it is not ideal, we take what we can so the kids can get out on the floor.  As ice is removed from Sackville Arena, practices move there.
  • Games will be across facilities in HRM - Sackville Arena, Spryfield Lions Rink, RBC Centre, Eastern Shore Community Centre, Gray Arena, Greenfoot Energy Centre and Cole Harbour Place.

ARE THE TEAMS CO-ED?

  • As a Female, you can choose to play either Co-Ed or on a Female team. The Wolves have strong female numbers and continue to grow the female game. We will have a female-only team at each division in the league except for U9, which is fully co-ed, but we try to keep the girls together in a group.

WHAT ABOUT GOALIES?

  • Goaltenders are needed for all teams. Participants will receive upper goalie pads, leg guards, neck protector and a stick. Gloves, helmet and hockey/goalie pants will be needed. Wolves will provide goalie coaching and clinics throughout the season. Returning Goaltenders in U11 to U17 will receive a $50.00 discount on their next season's registration.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED?
